Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Another book made for my Printed Book class. Drumleaf accordion in an edition of 2. The theme is based around the musician Gackt’s song ‘December Love’. Book consists of 9 folios with wintergreen oil text transfers of the song’s original Japanese lyrics, the English chorus printed in silver oil ink using the letterpress, and snowflake stamp accents. I love how everything turned out except the rippling in the pages after I bound it. T_T
